Composed by David Pentecost. Baroque,Contemporary. Full Performance. Duration 108. Tatiana Stupak #6487395. Published by Tatiana Stupak (A0.1073111).A rare work, written specifically to make some use of the sostenuto (middle) pedal of a grand piano. Baroque style. It uses a similar note pattern to that used by Bach in the Fugue movement of his famous Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565. (The piece still sounds well on pianos without a sostenuto pedal, but not quite with the same sound effect as on a grand piano). Played by Tatiana Stupak on the Steinway grand piano at the Pattihio Muinicipal Theatre, in Limassol, Cyprus. The sheet music can be found at S0.917043.
