Bass Trombone,Tenor Trombone - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1242847

Composed by Elizabeth Raum. Contemporary. 6 pages. Gordon Cherry #837894. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1242847).

Prelude and Fughetta for Trombone Trio by Elizabeth Raum is an accessible work for advanced intermediate performers. The two sections are all in bass clef, plus technique, range and endurance are kept to a moderate level.

Prelude is a beautiful lyrical chorale marked "religioso" that weaves its way through various tonal centers, but returns home to C major. Fughetta as it sounds is contrapuntal in nature flipping itself around after first being stated by each performer.

Altogether the work is a delightful addition to the repertoire for lesser experienced players.
