Credited to the project's founder Eric Lévi (Éric Jacques Levisalles), it was included on ERA's selftitled debut-album (released in 1996), and served as the album's lead single.
The song was a big success, reaching top 10 positions in France, Belgium, and Sweden, and charting in many other countries. In France, it was certified Diamond with over 1,000,000 sold records.
While the song's lyrics sound like ancient Gregorian chants, they are not really Latin, but instead totally made-up nonsense ("Pseudo-Latin").
