Bogoróditse Dévo is the Old Church Slavonic version of the Hail Mary prayer. The lyrics are possibly most well-known from the Sergei Rachmaninoff choral setting.
"My original version was composed in 2016 for the male choir Zero8, based in Stockholm, Sweden, before their trip to the annual Easter Festival in Moscow, Russia. The piece was later recorded and included on their 2017 album Mes très chers frères.
In connection with the publication of the piece, I made some minor adjustments and added an English translation of the lyrics. I also wrote a separate version for mixed choir SATB, available from Bo Ejeby Förlag." – Steven Hansen.
