Published by Benjamin Desef (A0.1088195).This is an arrangement of Vangelis's famous "Chariots of Fire" for symphonic orchestra and piano. Electric piano or bass parts allow to embody the original sound even more, and a choir may also be used to amplify the harmonics. Apart from the original version, the two very different interpretations by the London Symphony Orchestra from 1990 and 2012 strongly influence this arrangement. It start from afar with a hushed introduction of the main motif by selected wind instruments, then leads to the well-known repetitive beat until finally the piano takes over the melody. Embellishments in the woodwinds, percussions, and strings (as well as the optional e-piano) will provide lots of variety. The piece ends with an energetic climax.
