This is probably the happiest piece I play, and certainly the best happy waltz I have found in classical guitar repertoire. Finding good pieces in a major key is tricky in classical music, often they sound too cheesy or too boring but this piece is certainly an exception. I don't know if the history is Italian, but it sure sounds Italian, like a pizza parlor. This has also been the most successful recording for me.
