This lovely hymn is one which Elvis Presley used on his gospel album. Although this is not his version, it is an easily learned arrangement for the pianist who wants to have a more flowing style of music to accompany group singing or a soloist. There are arrangements in 2 other keys on this site and also a 2 page version of this hymn elsewhere on this site. The melody is retained, as well as the traditional timing to help singers even if a song leader is not present. It is also suitable for church preludes, offertories or communion and particularly during Lent.
