The studies in this set from Czerny’s op 299 have been recast in arrangements suitable as accompaniment to exercises in ballet class. The arrangements are specifically offered to ballet pianists who may want to add Czerny pieces to their class repertory not only for the support the music gives to a particular exercise but because historically Czerny's studies have been foundational to most pianist's technical training. When using these arrangements in ballet class the pianist will have the incidental benefit of Czerny's historically important pedagogy.
