An early advanced (to advanced) arrangement for violin and piano of Nino Rota's gorgeous Love Theme from the film Romeo and Juliet. In this arrangement, the piano part has its own independent musical line, and is much more sophisticated than mere accompaniment, making it more satisfying for the pianist to perform (and for the audience to listen to!). The violin carries the main melody higher and higher till it ends with a cadenza, making this arrangement perfect in a recital or as an encore.
