Published by JB Linear (A0.582097).Ottorino Respighi's Adoration of the Magi from Three Botticelli Pictures set for CLARINET CHOIR by John Gibson. Respighi composed the "Trittico" in 1927 in a three movement setting of musical impressions of paintings by Botticelli. The middle movement, Adoration of the Magi makes use of the ancient Christmas season hymn, O Come, O Come, Emanuel. This setting for clarinet choir is for Eb clarinet, Bb clarinet 1-3, alto clarinet with an alternate 4th Bb part, bass clarinet, and optional contra/contralto. In my opinion this is suitable for advanced players, due to the depth of the music as well as challenging key signatures. The short audio sample begins on page 4 of the score.
